8 channels, one shared clock, each one drum voice — sweepable oscillator, noise source, multimode filter, transient click — plus its own filter, envelope, and EQ channel strip, all summing into one shared master bus compressor. Space play/stop · Enter preview the active channel · shift+click a step for velocity · double-click a slider to reset

All 8 channels share this grid and one clock. Click a channel's name to make it the one the sections below edit; M mutes it, S solos it (soloing any channel silences every other channel, same as a mixer).

Mixer

A simplified view of each channel's Channel processing — EQ gain (low shelf, both mids, high shelf) and Channel Output (level, pan) — plus mute/solo and a live level meter. Click a strip to make it the active channel; the full controls (including EQ freq/Q) live in the Channel panel below. The fader is logarithmic.

Voice (Tone · Noise · Filter · Click · Master — this channel's sound)

A starting point for this channel's voice only — never the pattern. Changing any control below switches this back to --, since it's no longer exactly that preset.

Channel (applied once, after the voice)

One filter, one amplitude envelope, a 4-band EQ, and one overall level — applied once, after the channel's own Filter/Master, not a replacement for them. Channel Output is the channel's fader: balance how loud it sits against the other 7. Defaults are wide open, long, flat, and unity gain, so a fresh channel is transparent until these are pulled in.

Master Bus (shared by all 8 channels, after they sum together)

Dynamics compression and soft-clip saturation on the full mix, after every channel sums together -- compressor first, then saturation, replacing what used to be a per-channel compressor on each of the 8 voices.
